OiSuga and "They wouldn't be secrets if I went around blabbing about them!"
The long awaited (haha, I wish) third ficlet to follow these two very fun ones. I hope you enjoy it!
Koushi arrives to the address Yahaba had given him with steady breath and steadier hands. The door opens easily and he slips in silently, listening carefully to determine where exactly he needs to go. There’s a muffled noise, something like a hiss, and he takes off in that direction as quick as lightning.
Yahaba comes into sight and Koushi sighs internally at him not being dead just yet. He’d known this job of his was supposed to be difficult, but he realizes it a little better when he finally stops staring at the blood tracked down Yahaba’s throat and looks at who else is there. Luckily Koushi is a little better at concealing his surprise, and as he advances on them he watches Oikawa’s expression shift and change, giving away his feelings before he can help it. He’s always been that way, and Koushi has told him more than once that it would get him in trouble.
If Koushi has to be trouble, well. He’s prepared for that. Yahaba looks like he’s not sure whether to be relieved or pissed at seeing Koushi, which is understandable considering the situation. Oikawa still has one arm looped around Yahaba’s waist, the other casually dangling over his opposite shoulder, gesturing lightly with the dagger in his hand that Koushi recognizes as Yahaba’s.
He stops just in front of them, close enough to touch, if he reached out. “Tooru. You wanna drop the weapon, or do I have to make you?”
Oikawa smiles and flips the dagger, catching the blade in his hand as he holds it out to Koushi. “I didn’t realize you were Shi-chan’s new paramour. That makes this even more fun, hmm?”
Yahaba frowns and seems to quickly get his thoughts in order. “Wait, you two know each other? How?”
“Ohhhh, Kouchii. Your boy doesn’t know all your little secrets yet?”
Koushi flushes at the blatant attention from both of them. “They wouldn’t be secrets if I went around blabbing about them!”
Oikawa hums and presses his nose into Yahaba’s hair. “Well, why don’t we find a more comfortable place to have a little chat? I’m sure Shi-chan has so many questions for us, after all.”
Yahaba makes a noise of indignation, but Koushi can hear the tiniest hint of agreement in it too, like he can’t exactly deny that he wants to know more. Koushi sighs and tucks the dagger back into Yahaba’s sheath, and then gestures toward the exit with one hand, offering the lead to Oikawa. The night is shaping up to be much more interesting than he expected, and he hopes they all make it out in one piece.
