Yaimai and Kafe meet at the airport. Yaimai’s back home for the holidays and Kafe being the Distinguished Lesbian she is (you can pry this characterization from my cold dead hands) is coming back from a holiday.

Kafe’s girlfriend broke up with her before she went on a holiday so she’s at that part of healing when she’s HEALED but she still needs to take baby steps.

they have a cheesiest meet cute. I’m imagining them bonding over how long the baggage claim is taking and switching between jokes and sharing about their lives with ease. Because airports are a liminal space

But It’s 20biteen so yall can imagine whatever you want, it’s valid, just crank up the cheese to 200 (cause it’s what we deserve!!)

Kafe thinks Yaimai is super cute from their first interaction but when they date later on she finds out Yaimai also takes no shit and she is very into that.

She doesn’t like Guide that much but she’s civil. No one knows how to react to Yaimai’s intimidating older girlfriend (especially good, bless his heart) and Yaimai finds it hilarious because 

she understands why but at the same time her girlfriend is a big old softie??? the kind that likes to wink at yaimai whenever they make eye contact and she thinks no one is watching 

Example: One time Yaimai follows Kafe to a work function and some dude in a suit makes a condescending statement and in return Kafe fucking destroys him but he won’t realize it until later and she winks at Yaimai the moment he turns around

they’re touchy!! the way we know girls like to be and the lowkey this is already canon from the little we saw of kafe 3.0. like, hands on hip, pinkies looped together as yaimai looks through clothes at the mall, yaimai’s fingers looped through kafe’s belt loop while kafe’s buying tickets at the cinema, leaning against each other whenever they’re sitting next to each other. THEY TOUCHY!!!

im not gonna imagine how they’re gonna be like when Yaimai has to go back to England this is a fluff zone!!

except for this one: whenever Kafe goes to visit her she definitely spoils Yaimai. Like, Yaimai’s just walking around her campus and Kafe comes to pick her up by driving in with her fancy ass car and walking out looking hot af and it leaves her friends shook

My Dream - Yaimai

I freaking loved how they introduced Yaimai. The slow-mo bitch walk, everything jumps out of her way, loved it! And I didn’t care that it was clearly a way to make the mostly female fans hate her on the spot. I love me some confident no-excuse female character. 

They could have made her the power-lesbian we all deserved! 

We knew from the start that Guide and she are having a cheating storyline and when I saw the scene with the guy and Guide all down I was like... oh you poor boy BUT girl you’re allowed to drive home with a guy! Guide was the one who decided to treat her with radio silence and he was the one who kissed Tanai. 

She made it clear that she wants him to talk to her and she demanded from him to talk to her before he jumps to conclusions - you go, girl!

Then the scene happened where she sees Guide and Tanai kiss and everything went downhill. 

She could have been the confident female who says: “You know! Maybe I’m still in love with you, and it hurts like a bitch, but no! You decided to treat me like garbage because you THOUGHT I cheated on you. But you’re the one who kissed another guy! So we break up - goodbye.”

Instead, she made a weird turn around and didn’t confront him at all, and maybe they wanted to show us that under the bitchy attitude she is just a sensitive girl with a heart of gold BUT WE DESERVE HER CONFIDENCE! And it breaks my heart that they make her all needy in the next episode with a line: “please let me be the only girl for you!” NO!! NO!!

The thought behind this would be that it’s better to have a gay boyfriend than being single?? That it doesn’t matter if Guide would be in love with Tanai because he still would have a girlfriend and that matters more??

Stupid! And I will be bitter till the end, that we probably won’t get the cute storyline of how a confused but adorable Kafe turned Yaimais world upside-down.
