But am I the only one who never really perceived Yakari as a boy? Maybe it’s because in the german dub Yakari sounded more like a girl but even then Yakari wasn’t a girl for me either. When I watched the show as a kid I didn’t process his gender AT ALL I just saw Yakari as well…Yakari. The kid that talks to animals and shit. Even now I perceive Yakari more genderless so like…Yakari is so agender to me folks
