How about Apodyopis for Inara + a Hawke (your pick!)
Apodyopis - The act of mentallyundressing someone.
I’m madat him.
It’s hard enough for Inara to remindherself that she is cross with Shane Hawke on their worst days. Even when he’sa good-for-nothing, fucking irritating, down-right gratingly irritating ass, somehow just the thought of him at her side makes her carefully guarded littleheart light up in ways that she thought she had long since learned to smotherout. Even when they sit in separate rooms, hell bent on pretending the otherhas fallen off a cliff(and, perhaps, imagining it a few times in their head),the tender things still creep back in to the corner of her mind, nag at herjust as he does when he pulls at the hem of her pants or back of her shirt likean insistent child.
On good days, it’s damn near impossible.
ButI’m mad at him.
Her hold on that thought is as slippery asthe images of his skin flashing through her head, little single-serve glimpsesof memories of sweat-slicked skin and connecting freckle to freckle with nailmarks on his shoulders.
He is, of course, blissfully oblivious toall this, consumed instead with slurring through a heated session of hagglingwith Aveline through the gates to try and procure their release. It would haveworked in their favor, she thinks later, for Inara to have negotiated theirrepentance instead, or at least to have lifted her eyes to Aveline’s for longerthan a glance and share that special look they both tend to get on their faceswhen Shane has found a new, exciting way to be stupid in public. But she’sdrunk, ashamed of her part in the defilement of those poor statues, and most ofall can’t keep her eyes off his ass. He’s lost his pants sometime during thenight – even she can’t remember quite where– and the pair Aveline produced for him are a shade too tight to leave anycurve of his physique to the imagination.
The discussion ends, to the surprise ofabsolutely no one involved, with Aveline’s stern refusal to lift a singlefinger to help them ‘til they both sober up. She shoots the formerWarden-Commander a disappointed look, and disappears, leaving her and her worstintentions alone with Shane.
And she can’t remember why she’s mad.
