No I totally get the yamasan and I’m so glad someone else sees it. Like?? That week where Zoro and Luffy were unconscious and Yamato wasn’t eating holds so much potential in my mind. The similarities of the hunger they’ve experienced, admiring someone and emulating someone being what their bio dads consider as their failures and the insanity of both being locked away plus the threat of exploding hand cuffs??? Not to mention the glorious t4t energy. Truly an amazing dynamic

like... sanji figuring out yamato hadn't been eating and now yamato has tens of different meals scattered and placed secretly around for him because sanji can't just outright Say He Cares. and yamato eats them all, albeit a little confused as to why. he doesn't realize until he catches a glimmer of sanji topping a dish off that later appears at the foot of his bed. he doesn't say anything. he leaves edible flowers and herbs around for sanji as gifts in return.

yamato noticing sanji looking at women's kimonos and dresses and frantically looking away. he gets kiku and together they form a plan to get some more feminine outfits for sanji. kiku offering to braid sanji's hair since it's long enough with the extensions and yamato watching from a small distance and sanji's eyes well up with tears (happy) a few days later yamato sees her in one of the kimonos he and kiku picked out and left for her as a gift. her joy is palpable, even if she changes later on in the day out of nervousness

sanji and yamato both having a nervous habit of rubbing their wrists now that they're free of the bomb cuffs... yamato and sanji excitedly talking to one another about oden and zeff... yamato wolf whistling and spinning sanji around when she tries on a new outfit, even if it's objectively awful in style, and sanji teaching yamato how to cut certain vegetables and fruits so the flavor is more resound in different dishes. yeah i think about them a normal amount
