ahh, i'm glad you're enjoying it... i'm just sooo bothered by the way sousuke was shoehorned in rin's past, like he didn't even exist during the first season and suddenly the writers are all like "they were super close, they were writing letters to each other, and also sousuke was watching the relay last year!!"

i mean, i understand the need to introduce conflict, but couldn't they have hinted towards it in the first season?? or, if it was completely unplanned, then make him a completely new character that no one had met before?

and above all it bothers me SO MUCH how they seem to have forgotten how important haru is to rin. literally everything rin did in season 1 was for haru, and in this season they're downplaying their friendship so sousuke can seem closer to rin?? LITERALLY THE WRITING IN THIS SEASON IS SO MESSY I'M

What are their dates like? How long do/did they date? Do they ever feel the need to take a break from each other?

Their dates are so ridiculously mushy it’s a surprise they don’t get cavities. It’s often somewhere outside, Lhant Hill or the hill in North Barona Road, where they like to have picnics and watch the sunset. Sometimes, they have candlelit dinners in a veranda in the castle. They spend most of their dates making bedroom eyes at each other, blushing like schoolkids and spewing the cheesiest love declarations you can imagine (especially Richard, who goes on long-winded narratives of why he loves Asbel so, so much, while Asbel generally fumbles with his words and manages a “Y-Your hair is so nice, it’s like… golden and… soft and… //////”) Still, whatever they say makes the other blush and giggle so much you’d think they were 12. (dorks)

Since they don’t have a lot of time to spend together, their honeymoon dating phase never seems to end. They would also never even think about taking a break - in truth, they only wish they could spend more time together.

How do the handle disasters or emergencies? Minor injuries? Sickness?

PROTECT— I mean, they often overreact. Even though they don’t take enough care of themselves, they go crazy when the other is hurt. Even if it’s something minor, they will go out of their way to visit the other (if they aren’t together when the emergency happen), and then they’ll be fawning over the hurt/sick one until they recover. Meanwhile, whoever is sick/hurt will be all like “Please don’t worry, this is nothing, I don’t want to be a burden, you should get back to work”, though in truth, they love how fast the other will rush to their side when anything happens, and treasure the care they receive.
