the yandere peekablue AU is interesting bc Peekablue sounds REAL shady in it, and has been absent from society for years. he could, theoretically, have some super evil plans he lets slip to his ~beloved~. it’s one of the major red flags that persuades DT to dump the prince, even with the royal treatment. Especially when they find out they were apart of the plan— with such a unique skill set, aren’t they just what blue needs to overthrow Etheria? that, and the unemployed horde soldiers 1/2
peekablue spending the last ??? years developing weapons and a secret army, because he believes he could ‘protect’ Etheria from intergalactic threats. (which he’s believed in for a long time, having visions from beyond Despondos, maybe?) and seeks to take put all of Etheria under his control, starting with Queen Glimmer. That’s where DT comes in— Blue wants DT to pose as Queen Angella pretending to have been saved from the portal by Entrapta (also played by DT, but at a separate time) 2/3 ig
and once DT is angella, glimmer goes in for a hug for her mother— not caring why. a perfect opportunity to restrain her and take her place, and by doing so having control of all of Bright Moon. peekablue insists they will rule Etheria together. anyway that’s an idea. then its time to go for she-ra and catra. 3/3
DT being part of an evil plan to take over Etheria? They wouldn't feel morally terrible about the plan itself - not that they want to rule anything, but they're not opposed to shaking up the world's leadership - but they didn't choose this, and they aren't allowed to choose otherwise, because there's an implicit threat to them if they don't do what their all-seeing "lover" says. They're in danger from the princesses if they go along with it, in danger from Blue if they don't. There's no way out. Their only hope is to go along with the plan and try to give the princesses little hints while they're in disguise - subtle enough that Blue hopefully won't notice what they're up to, but obvious enough that they can later convince the princesses they were trying to sabotage his plan all along.
