Saving Yandros -A Harry Potter/Trilogy of the Lord of Time crossover prompt
"I think it'll be interesting" commented Yandros with a coy smile. "You did it and things turned out pretty well, considering".
After the Seven Masters of Chaos defeated the Seven Masters of Order, and their world reached some sort of balance between the two forces, the siblings had stopped being constricted to their world only. And dealing in other Universes, while compromising a part of their powers, could be still very enjoyable and practically consequenceless regarding their original world.
Tarod had been the only one to support the idea of Yandros; in a world different to theirs his older brother could experiment a life as a human; there the only real threat to his powers would be himself.
What they didn't accounted for was that, as Yandros reincarnated himself as one Harry Potter, he'd be manipulated the rest of his mortal life by the likes of Dumbledore, to the point that he himself would deny his powers over Life and Death and therefore lose his chance to get back to his siblings.
Tarod tried multiple times; as the Master of Time he rewinded it, trying as he might to change the cirscumstances surrounding Yandros' life. It wasn't possible, Dumbledore's engineering stronger than his meager help as a God unable to interact for long spaces of time in the human world.
If he wanted to save Yandros he'd have to be born as a human once again, forget his memories and pray for his good luck. "I've already done it, I am the best option" he argued. "Just don't let me fall under the old man's claws".
If he were to be born under magical parents he could kiss goodbye to his chance to meet his reincarnated brother before he went to the magical school. So one of his siblings impregnated instead a powerless woman -muggles, were those called-, and just like the first time, he left her in the morning with his ring as the legacy of Tarod's future self.
Daniel Lewis is born the 31st August, 1980, to the Lewis couple that lives on Little Whinging, Privet Drive Nº 2, Surrey. The baby posesses big, round eyes whose colour becomes an impactating dark green most of the time except in the night, where they seem to catch the light, becoming bright, cat-like and upsetting for those who know what to look for.
Tarod retook human flesh with a target in mind, and therefore since the beginning his siblings were visiting him, guiding the young reincarnation of their brother so he wouldn't lose his way. Therefore little Dan was starting to get a handle on his powers when he was as young as four years old, and already looking for someone his imaginary friends had told him much about.
Someone who was as especial as him.
He hadn't had much luck until that particular day, on September 1985, that a little boy, already shorter than his peers, with bright green eyes hidden under glasses and a dark, messy hair was introduced to his classroom. Little 'Freak' whose real name was Harry Potter.
And the boy called Daniel Lewis knew then that he had found the one he had looked for from the beginning.
