Yang Keyi doesn't t talk about his past. He tries not to think too hard about his years in the compound, trying to stay alive and not be blacklisted because he isn't good enough or fast enough. He got out and the less said about it the better.

Neither does he mention his peculiar elder twin brothers; the bitchy one with the special hearing or the snarky one who eats everything in sight. Nor does he talk about the crazy old man who's supposed to be their father. Sort of. (How is best left unexamined.)

He's gotten away from the lunacy of his family and while he doesn't mind seeing them once in a while, he much prefers to hang out with his own crazy best friend and perform.

It's hard work but it's fun and it's where he's happiest, on stage, singing his heart out...

And trying to keep said crazy best friend from goosing him in the ass again.

Thought I might put another Liu Chang character into the mix. Yang Keyi is actually the star of Overworking Man and boy does the title fit the premise. For the purposes of the Clone!Verse, YKY is the only survivor of a batch of incomplete clones. He didn't inherit much aside from the looks and those pretty long fingers, so he's best off staying a civilian.

(Sidenote: Pretty sure the crazy best friend and lead guitarist of his band is making passes at him. Suspect he knows it, too.)
