alexi babysits theo and adrian bc their aunt river is usually out on medical field work and if theo comes with her adrian usually doesn’t, but now i’m like. going to cry over the idea of theo asking alexi if she can bring her eliksni friend with them when they go into the city to shop, and euri is like that’s okay but KEEP HER WITH YOU please she is small and vulnerable. (alexi: like you) (europa: bitch) but now yanisk is like yes i want to explore with my friend!!! this protective large man is scaring the shit out of me.
euri multiple times has told her gaggle of kids (theo, a human, and yanisk, an eliksni. sometimes baby rama, also eliksni.) to go find mithrax and stay with him while she deals with something (or someone). theo's been told all her life to find a guardian if she ever gets lost or needs help, so when her guardian pseudo-aunt is like okay baby. i'm going to make this bad thing go away :) go to mith and i will see you in a second. that's an immediate signal that she can trust him. yanisk is the other direction. if she gets scared, she goes to find the kell. thats what she's always done. so when mithrax is like go stay with pask, she's like okay. we like pask. pask is kell-approved. pask is safe.
this also means every time all euri's little lab assistants show up to stay near him he's like oh by the liiiiight who is she fighting now

europas gaggle of kids is killing me i don’t know why i think they are so FUNNY
theo and yanisk are just stereotypical sweet kids who want to help and maybe go stomp in that puddle on the way. theo’s twin brother doesn’t usually come w her to the camp so he is less involved but he likes to show up and follow around his sister and her strange new bug bestie. yanisk thinks this male copy of her friend is odd but he likes to watch her sew and talk so she guesses he is okay. all of them are around the same age or age-equivalent and are all just in general well-behaved curious kids.
rama is. so fuckin funny. rama is eliksni and a toddler and he is europa’s sweet little baby boy. he is a little shit. he is awful. he is incredibly attached to europa and everyone else is collateral. yanisk is usually his caretaker and carries him around bc he requires more attention than the rest of the hatchlings and he is usually good for her or he is in baby jail. theodora thinks he is adorable.
ramas main thing is he has favorite people and then he has obstacles. he will fight yanisk and theo but he also has decided that these little girls are HIS and only HE is allowed to fuck with them so if he deems you a threat while he is with them he will hiss and bite until you fuck straight off. he doesn’t care for mithrax but he knows that mithrax will go near europa very often which means he will take rama to europa. mithrax is acceptable. he will be good long enough to use mithrax as a vehicle and then once he gets to europa mithrax is back to being an obstacle. he is good for europa and will actively seek her out if he knows she’s near by. if someone tries to remove him from europa when he is not ready. die.
rama likes to sleep on europa like a house cat and mithrax will attempt to move him and rama is like i’ll kill you. come here. i don’t give a fuck what kell means i’ll bite you. put me back. fuck you. and mithrax is like i am not going to argue with a baby. she’s MY guardian you little shit give her back. i am not arguing with a BABY
theo doesn’t get to see callisto often bc she’s always out on missions so the “no more quria” party is a great time to introduce her new bestie to aunt cali! 🥺🥺 yanisk is like deadass this is the third aunt that qualifies as a one man army what is your family tree
