ZINE OF THE CRIME - Skate Defectives Issue 1
I spent a year and half with the greatest team (busy as hell one hence the time it took us) and we made a photo comic (I did the layout and design) featuring a bunch of our friends about a ridiculous story about two absurd skate detectives solving a crime about stolen He Man arms. It featured local brands made by friends, as well as locations where most city slickers are fully familiar with. Launch took place at Yours Truly on Loop Street, Cape Town. It was such a success that we nearly sold out on the night.

If I learnt anything from this it’s when work and life is full on, try your hardest to keep these passion projects alive, it’s really so important.
