had an idea yesterday that I might turn into a fic for my modern AU if I am strong enough

basically, Pebbles getting drunk at a party they hosted in their shared apartment + some friends they invited. not that Pebbles particularly enjoys alcohol, but he's been so miserable and desperate about his crush on Suns that he needed to chug a few drinks to get the balls to confess (+ this way, if Suns rejects him, he can always blame it on "ahah I don't have feelings for you actually, I was just drunk asf don't worryyy")

but when Suns gets him back to his room cause "you're drunk dude let's get you to bed", he can't put two words together, so instead of confessing he just ends up kissing them. to which Suns react really badly because they are terrified of the idea that they might be abusing him during his most vulnerable moment. so they end up running away

a week after this, Pebbles just realizes that Suns has been avoiding him, and he's so scared that he fucked up so badly, he ends up going to Sig for help (you know he's desperate when he asks Sig for help). so he explains the situation about how he kissed Suns a week ago and Sig's reaction is just "what the FUCK they haven't told me about that", and after Pebbles explains that he did that because he's been trying to confess his feelings, Sig admits that Suns has been in love with him (Pebbles) for like 2 or 3 years, and Pebbles is just like "wait. what" (Sig: "seriously?? you never noticed how they acted so shy and nervous around you??" Pebbles: "I thought that was how they acted around everyone??")

so yeah learning this really makes Pebbles understand why Suns acted this way (he was thinking "okay so I was expecting to be rejected but I didn't expect it to be this bad") and now that he knows about how Suns is feeling, he gets the courage to actually confess while SOBER, and apologize for how stupid and blind he was. as for Suns' reaction idk they just fucking die from a heart attack after realizing that holy shit the feelings they had for years are actually reciprocate?? and Pebbles was actually 100% honest and genuine when he kissed them??

whatever they kiss again except this time it's awkward as fuck even tho Pebbles had his tongue deep inside Suns' throat a week ago

random ass complain post but I really dislike Rain World's french translation, hence why I play in english instead. mostly when it comes to Names. like some of them are really bad. like Watcher is translated to Guetteur. or Spearmaster is Maître-Lancier. there could've been better words to translate these

but the one I hate the most is motherfucking CINQ CAILLOUX. yes that's how they translated Five Pebbles. this name destroys the little of aura this guy had left.

see, my issue is that "cailloux" is not only a word known for not being beautiful, it also is a word that basically means "small rock/stone". and in english, "pebble" specifically means "a rock that got smoothed up by erosion from water". and we do have a french word for that! it's "galet"! his name should have been "Cinq Galets"!! not fucking CAILLOUX

and I'm not gonna start talking about how they translated other Iterators (who the fuck translated Chasing Winds to "Pursui-Vents"???) or regions or creatures cause I'll get vulgar
