Older art of an 8 year old Yarmaes being taught how to play the violin by their Uncle Kegnic who along with Nan encouraged his interest in the bardic art when life was a bit more simpler.
1 year into playing the campaign we got to experience what Hell was like while trying to escort every Deep Gnome from Yarmaes home town and a bunch of mixed-aged Drow Kids who escaped their home that fell into nothing.
You'd think that there would mostly be Fire damage to be taken while trying to hijack this random ship sailing over the hellish sands but nope. It was instead Lightning, lightning, lightning, acid, and more lightning. Fun times.
Earlier in the now-finished campaign one of our many quests was to infiltrate a fancy party while disguised in order to gain access to a vault containing a big magic stone that a group of stuck-up rivaling elf adventures was using to cheat in a tournament that we were also participating in.
So my Glamour Bard Yarmaes had the main job of fixing disguises to pass us for basic human nobles who totally got invited legit without standing out too much (hiding those larger than average ears under that wig was hard work btw) and totally not there to cause havoc. We never had the chance to get anything to eat because the chaos happened so quickly, but we were successful and the day after beat them in the tournament.
One of the reasons why we were participating in this tournament, to begin with, was to win the prize money to pay off the debt that Yarmaes' uncle had with a shady guild. That was not the last time we saved that uncle's deep gnome arse.
