Made myself a stand for my yarn 💖 And it doubles as a hat holder 🙌🏼 Now is more comfy to practice my granny squares 🧶✨️
I've been wanting to learn intarsia knitting for so long (for those of you who don't know, it's that kind of knitting who uses large blocks of colour) so I made a bunch of Wizard Pigeon yarn holders to use for the bobbins 🌱
I made a few for myself and will also be adding the others to my shop this Saturday, April 10th, along with lots of new products! 🌻
Stay brilliant beautiful human! 🍓
Use both pegs for color work, or only used one for a solid color. Either way, your yarn will unwind easily, and stay where you put it! More info at https://crochetenvy.com/double-yarn-ball-holder/
Quick and dirty Yarn Holder I cut out from a cereal box so my yarn doesn’t constantly roll off the table when I knit!
All you need is a cardboard box big enough to hold the yarn and leave it enough wriggle room, and a pair of scissors. Just cut the box to the required hight and cut in a spiral (best seen on the last photo). It doesn’t have to be exact, I just eyeballed it and as you can see, the edges are rough. You could make the edges smoother though.
I’ve seen this spiral design on a ceramic yarn bowl somewhere (online) so I made this cheap version! You can put the thread through the spiral at any time, but once it’s in place, it doesn’t slide out unintentionally. Very useful!
