Day 27: How do you acquire most of yarn? Online retailers, local yarn shops, swaps, or large chain craft stores? What’s your favorite?
I mostly get my yarn at Jo-Ann or Michaels. Plebeian, I know. I do like to buy yarn from actual sheep farmers when possible, so I have some of that, but it’s expensive and too good for me. I’d love to be able to buy all the fine artisan fibers, so that would be my favorite if I was rich, but cheap yarn still has its place (such as in gifts for children).
