Moss stitch something or other with some fancy yarn (Malabrigo I think) that I bought some months ago. Maybe a hooded cowl. Could make the cowl part in another yarn if I don't have enough of this.

Anyway. I though moss stitch would look pretty wit this yarn, and I was right. Definitely sparks joy! First time I'm doing moss stitch and it's a bit monotonous but I like the look.

So I'm in my Dr.'s office, hooked up to a heart monitor (nothing serious, family history of murmurs) and the nurse has left me alone w/my bf for about 10-ish minutes so that data can be collected while she does paperwork.

Me and bf are dickin' around on our phones when all of a sudden the monitor starts beeping like crazy. Bf is lookin' at me like 'oh fuk' and the nurse and Dr. shoot in like they heard someone was having a heart attack.

I just turn my phone around and show them this:

Yeah, now I gotta sit for ANOTHER 10 minutes. Without my phone.

Doesn't this yarn have just the loveliest color gradient?! I love a smooth and slow color change, and it worked so well with this big granny square. Will be a top or sweater of some kind.

Finished the fancy yarn crop top last night and wore it to work today. Really pleased with it! Wears like a soft hug, and the color is just perfect with my favorite palm frond pants.

This yarn is really taking me for a ride, pooling wise... but I do like it! Not very consistent, but interesting.
