Okay I am gonna write out a rant of questions/assumptions cause the Ashura arc hurt my soul (also I’m on phone excuse the typos).

So was Ashura-o’s wish about being reborn granted? Were the two status sentient? Or rather did they have some pieces of their old souls within them so when they were in proximity they caused “calamities”? Or was that just… huh? They were obviously connected though I assume that’s how or perhaps they were reborn as proper gods but the status were only place holders or rather tethers for their soul and sort of like the moon castle they could only meet when together. So they were causing calamities so-to-speak but not due to evil but due to love (aww).

Yet Ashura-o also mentioned them wanting to make the most of their only life so could that imply that they were unsuccessful? Or that they couldn’t pay the price. Or was the continued strife between their clans in the next life in the world of Shara the price? Oh that’s interesting!

Uh also lol does this mean RG Veda is part of the CLAMP universe proper? The answer is no unless retcon cause RG Veda is at the end of the day retelling/a take on religious texts but it is interesting to think of.

Idk man I hope they were able to reunite and Ashura-o got their wish. Damn that hurt
