Holy shit thank you so much for the kind feedback on my Diamond cosplay! I was really nervous about the cosplay because I made the wig so last second and had no time to costest the makeup or even try on the wig ;;;;
I ended up waking up at 7:00 am for a 1:30 pm shoot just to make sure I had enough time to experiment with the makeup and fix any wig issues before I actually wore her out and ahhHHHH///// I’m honestly just so grateful everything worked out and even happier that my effort was noticed by you guys ( ´•̥̥̥ω•̥̥̥` ) Seriously, THANK YOU so much for the kind feedback! It means so much to me endless FUWAFUWA feelings haha
But along with the nice feedback I wanted to give some tips from what I learned from doing that makeup and wig for people who want to cosplay Diamond also! I hope what I write makes some sense cause it was a lot of trial and error for me too (๑•́ ω •̀๑) ;;;

❀ *FOR THE WIG*: ☆ﾟ.
1. I cut up pieces of cellophane and glued it with tacky glue to the top of the wig. 2. To cover up the lines I added glitter nail polish to the top and sprinkled glitter like salt bae on the top to add more sparkles. 3. For the actual hair part of the wig, I used Got2Be and sprayed the shit out of it, dumped loose glitter on it, and sprayed it again praying some will stick. I repeated that step while brushing the wig in between to get rid of the glitter that didn’t stick until it was shiny enough for my liking. --------------
❀ *FOR THE MAKEUP*: ☆ﾟ.
*** *DISCLAIMER*: I am a makeup junkie. Makeup is another big hobby of mines and I’m one of those people who hops on the preorders, gets the newest shit, etc. What I mean by that is over the years I have collected a lot of high-end products from that hobby. The products I used *ARE NOT NECESSARY* to recreate the look I did so do not be discouraged in any way because there are hella dupes out there. I just want to be clear that I am not trying to rub in anyone’s face the products I own! I have just…really liked makeup even before I started cosplay a-ahaha (andhaveaproblemLOL) ***
1. BASE: (note I switch foundations often) This time I used MILK MAKEUP Blur Liquid Matte Foundation in Ivory. For concealer, I usually use a mix of TARTE Shape tape in light sand for dark circles and then use NARS Radiant creamy concealer for acne spots. I had a couple of dark spots as well and color corrected with NYX Concealer Jar in pastel lavender. For blush I used HOUGLASS Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat as well as TARTE Amazonian Clay blush in Paaarty. Lastly for highlight I used the ANATASTIA BEVERLY HILLS Aurora Glow kit.
2. EYES: (there was a lot of experimenting so I don’t remember the exact shades) The main palette I ended up using on my eyes was the HUDA BEAUTY Desert Dusk palette. Additionally, I used the ETUDE HOUSE Play Color Eyes Cherry Blossom palette as well as the LORAC MegaPro 3 palette. The main shades I grabbed were white, pinks, reds, oranges and purples. As a finishing touch, the sparkles were from the ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Aurora Glow Kit as well as the STILLA Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Diamond Dust (lolhowperfofname). I also added some loose glitter I had on the ends of my eyes as well as extended my eyeliner wing with the NYX White liquid liner.
3. LASHES: So for the lashes, I actually just had a pair of cheap ass lashes I owned and painted them a rainbow color. So it was pastel blue on the longest part, pastel pink near the middle of the lashes and yellow near the front. Unfortunately for me, the colors didn’t show up as well as I hoped when I tried it on SO I improvised and used the NYX White liquid liner to coated my real lashes in white and then curled them into my false rainbow lashes! Then, I coated both the lashes with the STILLA Glitter & Glow Liquid Shadow in Diamond dust to make them pop out more!
4. LIPS: (I always tend to mix up colors on my lips until I am satisfied with the color) The base was 3CE Mood Recipe Matte Lip Color in Muss and then topped with PONY EFFECT Favorite Fluid Lip Tint in Sheer Delight. ----------------
SO…now you guys know when I say I have 10 lbs of makeup on my face that I’m not kidding HAHA. For cosplay, it usually takes me 2+ hours to do the makeup and another hour to get wig and outfit in order. There is a lot of experimenting every time I do cosplay makeup so I’m sorry if this “tutorial” was a bit cluttered or confusing in any way!
