my dad told me a bit about it a few years ago but I haven’t gotten to checking it out yet for the most part! I watched some scenes on youtube and stuff at the time though

YEAH tbh. I think like,when you see ur fav things parodied it just kind of like. HEY. I know that. I like that. It’s being referenced in this current thing which shows how loved it was when it was new and how well known it continued being.

it just shows how this stuff lives on it ppls memories long after it’s over and it’s very nice and sometimes it isn’t even outright parodies but i can see the influence of the older stuff on the newer stuff just like.... vague references and im like “!!!!” ‘cause it’s nice to see that the influence of that older stuff is still there

dw it’s one of my fav things as well especially gatchaman spoofs cuz. Let’s be honest gatchaman , as the ultimate sentai trope starter, is fucking begging to be made fun of same with BOTP and it’s editing. There’s so much room for jokes

yeah tbh... that’s the thing with loving older stuff is they almost always get these wacky spoof/parodies in newer stuff and im just so here for it
