The things I would do to be able to watch the ybcs for the first time again

Rewatching the ybcs yet again cause I’m ill and can’t do anything and I just got done with Alone Together and I had a thought:

So, Pete is the one to put the hook on Patrick right? Well, I’ve always been confused as to why because Patrick is under mind control at that point so why would you give him a weapon Pete? Granted it could be argued that Pete didn’t know Patrick was evil yet, but his eyes were glowing yellow and he was angrily thrashing around in the chair, so that kind of debunks that. But back to my thought; what if the reason Pete put the hook on Patrick was because he knew he wouldn’t be able to get Patrick out of the chair and away in time and they’d inevitably be taken away from each other, so even though Patrick was crazy, Pete still gave him the only weapon he had, that way Patrick could defend himself when they get separated?

This is the best reason I’ve had so far for this besides Pete just being an idiot.

Having a fucking mental breakdown over my college classes and coping by having the Rat-A-Tat music video playing on repeat on my tv as I read the assignment instructions through tears and wondering why the FUCK I’m a literature theatric major
