He runs into Remus in the hallway, who looks dressed to go out. He’s shrugging on a bomber jacket which Regulus, to Remus’ visible annoyance, gives an approving look. Actually, as Regulus trails his eyes over Remus, he thinks that he looks very dashing in general. He has on his best jeans, the ones without holes, with chains hanging between the belt loops, and a grey band t-shirt. His hair is styled for once and around his neck – are those dog tags?
Regulus squints suspiciously.
Remus catches him looking and rolls his eyes, fastening up the zipper before turning to him. They make a sharp contrast, Remus is his best gear and Regulus in joggers and Remus’ sweater, which is at least three sizes too big on him and falls to his mid-thigh.
“You look handsome,” Regulus observes, trying not to sound like he’s fishing for information. If Remus’ look is anything to go by, he fails miserably.
