A lovely afternoon spent with her new fiance, one that was arranged by her father this time, has been ruined by the sight of the one person she loathed the most. Gerard was the last person she expected to see in the country club, especially since it was a weekday. Considering that he was running his own company, he barely had time for the woman when they were still married so it was a shock to find him here. Ever since the two have signed their divorce papers and parted ways, Angelika was quite bitter about the way their relationship ended. Even though they haven't been together long enough to know each other's personalities and flaws before they jumped into marriage, the brunette still thought that he was the one person she truly wanted to spend her life with. Look how that turned out now. Removing her expensive sunglasses, she caught his gaze and thought that it would be rude not to say hello. Making her way to the man while her new fiance was chatting with some of his friends, she halted her bodyguards from following her since Gerard posed no threat. "Well-- look what the cat dragged in," Angelika stated, her American accent still very much present since she has yet to fully acquire the Russian language.
