(musing) while i am overall ecstatic at the activity capcom has put out for resident evil in the past decade, i will say that - despite being overall supportive of just about every single remake, i still find myself much fonder for the classics. i think everything about it feels a lot more 'clumsy', sure, but i think there's a lot of benefits that come to having played both the original and the remake.. it's really rewarding, actually, to compare the two.. see what you like from the original more, see what you like from the remake more... i personally think their weakest remake is 3, while their strongest absolutely has to be 4...
