Today’s remix from “Deviations” is from our good friend/favorite anarchist @stefenrobinson AKA Yea Big. This is one of my favorites on the album. I’ve known Stefen for years since back in the Yea Big + @kid_static days and I’ve wanted to collaborate with him for such a long time. He was originally supposed be slinging his glitchy noises all over our last album but sometimes life is hard and we could never get our schedules to quite sync up, so it’s so exciting to finally get to do something like this with him. I knew as soon as we started this remix project that I wanted him to do this track and he freakin nailed it. He very much kept the essence of the song while at the same time flipping it on it’s head. It’s noisey, chaotic, and at times almost tribal feeling. There are two main pieces that switch back and forth each time adding more and more layers and intensity. IT’S REAL FUN.
