With all this Lindsey drama happening today, I couldn't help but think of "Not That Funny" off of Tusk because it's kinda funny. I don't know the exact details of his departure, but even though it's sort of a bummer (I like the golden team dynamic the best: Stevie, Lindsey, Christine, John, & Mick) it just goes to show that the dysfunction never dies. "Rumours 2.0" as I heard it called. To be fair, they did replace him with the GREATEST guitar player of all time (in my opinion) Mr. Michael Wayne Campbell. Not that Lindsey isn't great - he is - but, still, Mike's my boy and I love him. Also, I'm not too aware of Neil Finn, but his voice is nice and "Don't Dream It's Over" is one of the best 80′s songs ever. That being said, I'm a stickler for the popular lineup, and it doesn't feel right having other people sing Lindsey's songs (to me, at least.) But, what can ya do when you're dealing with one of the pettiest bands in rock history? (Still love them all though lol.) This whole mess just reiterates my stance: Fleetwood Mac is the greatest soap opera ever told.
* (Also, I think it's funny how Stevie always wanted to be in the Heartbreakers and now one of the Heartbreakers is in Fleetwood Mac.)
* (P.S. I wish Lindsey the best in his future endeavors. It's not like this is new to him lol. He'll be fine.)
