Ice dance, like humanity, was a mistake.
I think it’s the simple fact that people can’t let other people like what they like without tearing them down. And the same goes in return - people can’t let other people dislike what they dislike without tearing them down.
If person A likes a book that person B doesn’t, they’re horrible and toxic and problematic just like they feel the book is (literally saw multiple blogs here say that, and about more than one book. “If you like this book then you are ______). If person B states that they dislike a book that person A likes, they’re torn down for just expressing their personal thoughts.
When people are afraid to post about books they like because they’ll get anons telling them how horrible they must be to like that book, that’s really sad. And when someone is afraid to say they didn’t care for a book because they’ll be attacked, that’s just as sad.
Bottom line: You can like a book or dislike a book without being an asshole. You don’t need to tear down others who don’t have the same opinion as you. And that is the biggest problem here on Tumblr.

so, the reason why dream blew up l'manburg was just because intimidation wasnt it? those were his reasonings?
I would say it was more because Dream’s side had basically won. Eret had already betrayed, Dream wanted the nation gone, and there was no hope for the four L’Manbergians who had nothing to their name.
Alivebur at this point decides they have to surrender, and then Tommy goes off at Dream and asks for the duel. We know the rest from there.
So I would say intimidation to get them to surrender, but also a show of power, of how much they had won. To get rid of L’Manberg, that was always the goal. To get rid of that piece of land so no one would rebuild again.
wait what the HECK is this about a collar?? i thought someone made that up omg
