Porky, I finally did it, I got the cushy job. Not like rich cushy but I don't have to worry about not having enough for bills or necessities anymore. I make 22 an hour now to get left the hell alone and analyze data and update our backend database now, it's even work from home.
No less than 2 years ago I was jobless and crying because I thought physical disability would keep me from ever finding a decent job and I'd be worsening my condition and be punching bag for customers forever. I still have a very inflexible 8 hours a day 5 days a week, but all the other advantages still make it so much easier to cope.
No way in hell am I gonna claim it's easy but damn I just want everyone to know that finding some stability in life isn't a hopeless pursuit even nowadays. I'm a high school drop out too, you don't need crazy debt to make it either.
