there are a variety of things she could do differently. she could have had her guards meet him in the driveway before he even managed to park his bike. she could have had them drag him in and toss him on the rug that was far more replaceable than the vintage couch she bought at an auction in italy. she could have called one of her on-call physicians to come and tend to him. but, nina doesn't do any of those things.
she's here, nearly toppling over next to @spiritmarking when she finally gets him seated on her couch. it's unbecoming, but she's always made jason her own personal problem, just as much as he makes it a point to keep that special space in her life.
pushing her hair back, she reaches for her claw clip on the coffee table, sweeping her long black hair together as she darts to the bathroom for towels and supplies. from there, nina carries on the conversation; "so, i can watch you fumble around and make it worse? as entertaining as that sounds--" she returns with towels that she lays down on the cushions, pushing him forward so she could drape a couple behind him before allowing him to settle back once more.
"--i would prefer spectating somewhere that isn't my private home." one of them, at least.
brandishing fabric scissors, nina unceremoniously cuts up the middle of his shirt as soon as they get his jacket off his shoulders and tossed somewhere behind the couch. "you coming here..." she mutters as she assesses his injuries. stitches she could do, but if there's anything worse internally ... maybe she would have to make a call. "was business in the neighborhood, or --? have you finally lost all sense of self-preservation?" there's no real threat there. he likely knows by now that if she really wanted to get rid of him, she'd want there to be a challenge involved. not him weakened and basically placed at her mercy.
"here--" she lays the first aid kit, complete with what would be needed for stitches, too, on his lap. "guide me. it has been a while."
