does anyone ever like go to order some food from somewhere and the cashier asks you how your day is and you panic for a second but its fine cause you just say “im good” and smile and then ask back and then they say they’re good too and there’s this .01 second that feels like forever because you’re panicking again because you aren’t sure whether they want you to order now or like are we having a pleasant conversation and should continue but oh wait this is their job so maybe you should just order now so you do start to hesitantly order not to waste their time but then at the same time they’re like “so what can i get for you?” but you only hear the “so what can-” because you have just cut them off on accident and oops awkward should you stop talking but oh wait you’re already ordering so might as well continue but isn’t that so rude why did you do that that’s so messed up the nice cashier was just about to ask for your order and instead you just barge in like you own the place and why would you do that what’s wrong with you
