Welcome to the Duchy of Honeygarde in the Kingdom of Springview. This is my eternal WIP Medieval hood. I had all but given up on getting The Sims 2 to run stably on my Win 10 Laptop, but after applying some helpful tips from @mortia, my game is up and running.
I am not following any specific challenge with this hood, though I heavily borrow ideas from the Medieval Charter Challenge and the Warwickshire Challenge. I am starting with 12 Peasant families who will hopefully buy their way up the social ladder. The main goal is for this to be a mostly self-sustaining hood, so I will be using many of the great mods from Sun & Moon at Plumb Bob Keep (RIP Sunni and Blessings Frac). My other goal is to build this hood completely by myself. I’m not really a builder or decorator, so this is a challenge I’m setting for myself. Since I am primarily a player, I will build as I go along, so I hope you won’t be turned off by half-done lots.
