Staircase Spirits - Last Song
The first exclusive song for the comp, comes from our good friend Anna, who, besides being a great musician and songwriter, has the greatest social media presence. We’re happy to be working with her going forward, especially given all of the “Infinity on High” (The best FOB album. Fight me.) vibes on display here.
Losing Season - Moneypenny
Side A off of the band’s “Spin” 7″. We saw these guys play at the crunch house back in September and have been hooked ever since. Losing Season are some of the nicest guys up here in CT and we were beyond happy when they agreed to join the comp.
Milkshakes - 8:15
If you follow the CT Indie and Punk scene at all, you’ve probably heard of Milkshakes. These guys are the cream of the crop around here, and it was a no-brainer to reach out to them when we started putting the comp together. “Dog Years,” is an absolute jam, but it’s 8:15 that the three of us here at Further Sky are constantly singing.
Analog Sunset - Only If
The dudes in Analog Sunset were kind enough to let us release their second EP “Shapes” a year ago. They’re kind of what started it all. Only If is one of the best songs on that EP, with a hook that just screams to be sung along to in the summer sun. The almost-lo-fi warmth and upbeat tempo of the song (and most of the EP) still gets us excited a year later, and we can’t wait to keep working with these guys.
