robert “yearner” robertson who never touches you physically, he’s respectful of boundaries but always makes sure you’re okay. regardless if you’re a dispatcher or villain turned hero, he always wants to check up just to see if you’re okay.
robert “yearner” robertson who said with full confidence “whoever wins in rock paper scissors pays for lunch” and lost. miserably, genuinely the way his smile was wiped off so quickly. then he wanted best out of 3.. which turned into 5, then eventually he admitted defeat. his smile quickly made a come back though after he saw your grin, the way you laughed made him feel butterflies. he hasn’t felt this way in a while and it was addicting to say the least.
robert “yearner” robertson who wanted to learn everything about you, who was your favorite artist? any hobbies? favorite restaurant you’d wanna try if you ever go on a date? favorite flowers? favorite snack? was he gonna remember everything? for sure, he was planning what to get you if he had the courage to ask you out properly. on the rare occasion he’s out at a gas station in the middle of the night, you bet he’s gonna grab your favorite type of chips or candy. small gift for you working so hard.
robert “yearner” robertson absolutely hears it from the Z-team. he puts his head in his hands whenever he hears the team making kissing and moaning sounds in his headphones. one time prism commented “what’s stopping me from going up to them and saying you wanna crack robert?” he quickly chirped back annoyed “what’s stopping me from cutting you?” prism was quick to respond with “don’t you threaten me uncircumcised dick bitch!” to say she was grumpy was an understatement. his soul leaves his body whenever he sees any of the members close by to you, whispering in your ear. thankfully it’s just asking if you wanna hangout after work.. at least he hopes.
robert “yearner” robertson ironically listens to ariana grande love songs, something he’ll take to his grave. the only one who knows about this is beef and that’s because he’s forced to listen to robert try and hit the whistle notes and voice crack miserably. ‘imperfect for you’ is the one he relates to the most because he feels like he can’t compare himself to you. it perfectly describes him without having to use his own words. he feels at peace whenever he’s around you. despite his hardships, you manage to keep him grounded even if you two aren’t together. (hes cried at least 8 different occasions while listening to needy and ghostin lol)
robert “yearner” robertson swears that one day and he means this, you two will go on a date. hes not talking about a group hangout with the Z-team, he means one-on-one time. hes so tired of the teasing, the jokes and (playful) abuse he deals with during these hangouts when hes staring at you. even flamebae is feeling some form of sympathy for robert and its pissing him off. he knows he needs to do something soon, but part of him doesn’t wanna ruin what you two have. his mind is instantly shaken as you went up to him, smiled with your soft features and asked if he wanted another round. another round of what? he didn’t even remember what he was drinking, but he does know the way you look at him is going to be imprinted to the back of his mind.
