TADC Episode 7 Thoughts
My take away from the episode / thoughts on what's next:
I low key don't think anyone is leaving the circus now.
Kinger knows this in some way and is intentionally manipulated by Caine to not tell the others.
Jax either hurt someone in real life badly, or someone hurt him.
He might actually be deceased or in a coma like state in reality.
Kaufmo and Ribbit grew close to him or knew him in real life. Either way; their abstractions are what caused Jax to shut down and put on his mask.
There is some kind of symbolism to the red and blue colors possibly.
I really hope there is a chance for Jax and Pomni to become something like real friends before this is all over. I need to see them talk to each other - I honestly felt kinda bad in this ep - Jax didn't get any emotional support from anyone really (c'mon Glitch - breathe life into this part of the story.)
I still love funnybunny no matter how this show ends. I think Pomni could serve as a great foil to Jax's character. If she joined the circus because she was 'bored', and he joined because he had a dire situation in his previous life...Therefore; the concept of a new digital reality lands completely differently for them and they can't see it the same way.
I sense strong themes of learning how to be content with what you're dealt; accepting the fate of death, or facing reality despite your past as potential themes as we get close to the end.
Idk friends what do you think? Either way I really suspect we're getting a bittersweet / lol are you kidding me type ending.
