As someone who also loved the little mermaid as a kid, and also majorly struggled with accepting femininity and wanting to fit in, I get exactly who Jax is as a character. I think the final episode was beautifully handled for the end of her tale.

These two took me by a storm. I relate to Jax in so many ways as a character, and (no spoilers) but tldr; it hurts knowing how things turn out. The idea of two people trying to connect but ultimately falling through because of circumstances, self inflicted or otherwise.

Thank you Gooseworx for making something I found comfort in weird ways when needing an outlet. It's been real
