i want a ship where muse a and muse b fell in love a long, long time ago and muse a, being a vampire, decided they didn’t want to be alone and offered immortality to muse b with both of them thinking they’d be together forever... flash forward a few decades or centuries later and they kind of hate each other ? they’re no longer the partners-in-crime they once were, but are inevitably connected by muse a’s having turned muse b into a vampire like themselves, & it’s complicated having been in love, and maybe fallen out of love with someone you still see so often in your ~social circles~... i want all the bitterness, the old-married-kind-of-divorced-couple arguments, the pain of regret and missing someone you thought you’d spend eternity with who doesn’t seem to want you anymore, the tension ( sexual and otherwise ) of still having to see them and knowing or wondering if you made a mistake in choosing to live forever or just to live with someone forever... the urge to still protect that person from harm when push comes to shove because at the end of the day they’re important even if things didn’t turn out as planned... the jealousy and/or complete disregard of new relationships because you know they won’t last forever or even longer than yours did... messy messy dumb immortals with a long-standing history and a lot of anger and maybe, buried deep down, love for one another pls :~)
