On their first date, they are super awkward. Like, there’s so much sexual tension that they end up spending the whole date awkwardly laughing and stuttering. And when they get back into Billy’s Camaro, Billy decides to make a move. So he awkwardly presses a kiss to Steve’s cheek. And Steve kinda stops thinking at that moment and just pulls Billy into him, and they’re like heavily making out. Let’s just say, the date didn’t end up so awkward

I get the vibe of they'd do all sorts of really intimate spicy things but as guys being dudes (dudes being guys. Show me your dick Steve) so its all confidence and "This is just about getting off, don't get any ideas" but of course they both get ideas.

They both lie awake thinking what they could say to see if the other feels the same. Wondering if it's worth the risk. Eventually, late at night after their usual spicy encounter Steve turns to Billy and asks him on a real date. Not some middle of the night meet up in the dark, a real date. He says yes because of course he does.

When he turns up at Lover's lake or somewhere cheesy like that and Steve's layed out a blanket with food because they can't exactly walk into a restaurant holding hands so they spend hours under the stars awkwardly talking because they don't talk about themselves much. It feels weird but good and there's moments of silence where their eyes meet but not the usual, pin me against the hood of that car right now kind of eye contact. Its deeper and they're smiling. Still they look away like 13 year olds on their first date.

Eventually it gets too cold and too late to stay out any longer so they climb into the Camaro because its habit at this point and neither of them know how to like end the date. So they're just sitting their in silence until Billy turns and kisses Steve on the cheek and its on.

They practically drag eachother into the backseat and all that awkwardness is gone because they've done this before but this time it feels different. A good different, like this isn't just until one of them moves away or Steve gets a girlfriend. This is going to happen for a while, maybe forever but who knows? Not two teenage boys tangled in the cramp backseat of a dark blue Chevrolet Camaro Z/28...
