Sometimes I’m real glad that art is cumulative. Like, different art serves a different purpose, and I don’t need to actively be trying to make my Most Impressive Work Ever™. It’ll occur naturally over time. A signifcant amount of the stuff I do these days are icons of math concepts for a textbook? It won’t change the world, but it sure needs to exist (and sure is paying my bills).
