My very first Ben Wicks book! From 1980!!! Ben Wicks was one of my favourite cartoonists growing up. His work was always funny and he never missed a beat, not ever. More than just a cartoonist, he wrote a book in 1988, “No Time to Wave Goodbye” It was about the child evacuees in Britain during WW2. His cartoons always brought me laughter and joy but “No Time to Wave Goodbye”, just as easily brought me to tears.
