5th week in Japan...
There is a magnificent intensity in life that comes when I travel. I'm not in control. I'm only reacting, observing, living. I'm not religious at all, or more likely my own cosmology is convoluted and not in line with any particular philosophy, or church. But for me, to travel and to see the world is to get a glimpse of the beauty of life and human beings. Here I am reminded of my insignifiance - of all men's insignifiance. It is a wonderful feeling to be so humble.
