Ah. I thought they’d have sorted the shortage since there was one when I went ��. Yeah, the cancun area is for tourists. You really only need the rabies one if you’re going trekking through the jungle and will be far away from hospitals. I wouldn’t worry about it too much then
yeah there’s practically no human cases of rabies in the area apparently. i think the nurse probably just mentioned it bc they have to tell you about these things

Where in Mexico are you going? I went to the riviera maya last September and they recommended them, I think just to make you pay. I would say the hepatitis one is a good idea, but the rabies one is completely unnecessary if you’re staying in a resort type area
yeah we’re going to a similar area, near cancun. its not a resort but its in a town so its probably unnecessary - my mum seems to think so
im not sure if i can even get the hepatitis one bc there’s a shortage and they’re only offering them to ppl staying for a long time apparently. its probably unnecessary tho since you can only get infected through blood contact/unprotected sex so its pretty low risk
