As a reminder to any good Meti citizen who does not want distasteful persons in their employ:
It is perfectly legal for any Meti employer to question prospective hires about their character. You may freely inquire if, for example, they have a criminal history. Or indeed about any other unfortunate attributes they may have hidden away.
And if they were to have any repugnant secrets that may dismay your loyal workers or damage your buisness’ reputation, you are free not to hire them.
Furthermore, lying during the application process is and remains valid grounds for instant dismissal without any form of severance.
Keeping your workplace free of the criminal element, or other such sorts, is of course a valid concern, and I wish you all a swift and easy implementation of whatever protections you choose to put into place.
