I'm seeing this BS coming back around again lately, so I'm here to remind y'all that H.O.T fans have been friends with DSF/Yellowkies and sided with Baby Angels for way longer than they were with being antagonistic to them. By the time I became aware of it back in 2008, this stuff was settled and those involved had moved on.
I have yet to meet a Club H.O.T/White Angel in Korea, the US, or online who doesn't support Sechskies or condemn past fans for what Baby V.O.X went through with the Heejun rumor. Since the fandom is big and segmented, I'm sure there are a few weirdos who are into it, but the fandom as a whole isn't.
So, if you're acting as though this is still a thing, 1st gen probably isn't for you. Club H.O.T/White Angels cheered when Sechskies reunited and a lot of us are vocal about our love for Baby V.O.X. If you didn't know that until this post, you're either new or haven't been listening. Most people in the 1st gen fandom are multistans and support each other's favs. Sometimes old H.O.T/Sechskies fans make memes about the fights, but NOBODY jokes about or supports the harassment Baby V.O.X went through. If you can't handle that, move on.
I know it's a big thing with Koreaboo/TikTok to repeat the dark~ stories of 1st gen cuz they have no interest in it otherwise, but I'm sick of seeing the harassment (including sending death threats) to fans/idols of other groups. I've been pretty patient waiting for newer fans to grow out of it (as I did when we had that influx of them after Reply 1997), but I'm seeing an uptick of it again. It's not just alleged Club H.O.T/White Angels doing it, as I've seen alleged fans of other groups do it too. But I'm posting this here as I'm closest to the H.O.T fandom. Idk where it's coming from, but like with the K'Pop rumor, I think there needs to be a crackdown on this.
If you're picking fights with 1st gen fans, I assume you're not aware of the bigger threats to H.O.T, H.O.T fans, and the 1st gen community right now. Knock it off.
