The former Inquisitor and the Iron Bull may be getting older, but it wasn’t uncommon to find them still fighting side by side all over Thedas. Because what’s finally having some peace and quiet without a little adventure?

I might do more scenes with one of my other inquisitors in the future.

Yelran Lavellan is a Dalish elf that eventually became a powerful leader of an organization called the Inquisition. Despite this, he has a very kind and humble spirit that at times struggles with this leadership that has been forced upon him. His heart lies in the forests where he grew up, and the animals that live there. Though normally gentle and soft-spoken, he is a fierce defender of his friends and loved ones, and loves his family fiercely and without restraint. As a child he was known for wandering off the trail to explore, and that tendency has carried into adulthood, where he finds solace in the wild mountains and lush forests of Thedas instead of in the war room. He is a skilled archer, having been a hunter for his clan before he joined the Inquisition. I will be adding a lot of art of him to this blog.

A silly comic idea I had. The other Dalish elf is my sister’s Inquisitor, Elbreth. Her and Yelran grew up together, and continued to be friends later in life.

For the most part, Yelran rises to the job of being inquisitor, meeting every challenge head-on. But the weight of all those lives resting on his shoulders gets to him sometimes, and he finds himself wishing he were back with his clan, away from all the ruin and corruption of the world.
