Is this true, did kimi say that really?
Yup he did
My honest opinion: I think when kimi comes out with foot in mouth ubermensch comments like he wants to beat george at his home gp… whose words are really those?
Hint: foot in mouth, ubermensch… toto wolff or marco antonelli
I honestly think if kimi didn’t have some ass clowns in his entourage that want him to project a “second coming of max/senna/lewis” according to the occasion(they don’t seem to have made their mind up yet) of him, him and george wouldn’t have as much trouble and would probably even have an amicably rivalry.
Same issue that formed between george and lewis: lewis can be a problematic teammate for sure, but I’m 100% convinced that without toto wolff in the equation, and a competent TP at mercedes who could handle two alpha drivers, their partnership would’ve been farrr less messy than it turned out to be.
Hanahaki as a study in grief and different kinds of love
An au to study the aftershocks of George dying from Hanahaki that no one knew he had and let alone dying of, until the day he collapsed on podium and never got back up.
A series of character study of every person in his life who was close to him, openly or secretly.
Each one wondering if it was them, if it was their fault, if they could have stopped it. Each one wondering if they should have confessed, if they could have loved him more obviously, if they were braver, if they made him love them and then it killed him, if they loved him at all, if they loved him but not in the way he needed to be loved by them, or if only they didnt love him then maybe. Then maybe.
But also a study on how each one perceived the others. Wondering if it was that person or that person. When you're wrought with guilt and What Ifs, so you start looking for someone to blame. Some openly. Some with secret grudges.
And George is a ghost that haunts everyone. He is present throughout the story even when it opened with his ending. He took that secret with him to his grave, not realising everyone he's ever loved ever cared about and everyone who's ever loved him in many different ways, are in that coffin with him.
I do quite like how George basically bullied his way into Lewis' heart through the combined power of sheer perseverance and the most unhealthy amount of hero worship the f1 grid has ever seen.
I have such Big Plans (a WIP I've been neglecting for months) Cominggg
I think if/when George wins a WDC he wont use the number 1 like Hamilton. (Like he is the biggest LH fan ive ever seen and looks up to him so much) Or he'll pull a nico rosberg and retire. Either way hes following in papas footsteps
