headcanon dump 01

one. george was five when henry was born. she didn’t know nancy yet, but bess came over every day for two weeks until maria (george’s mom) told the two girls that they were stressing her out & needed to go to bess’s house.

two. george doesn’t offer to go on cases with nancy after falling off the bridge, & nancy doesn’t ask. it’s only when she gets a call at two in the morning with nancy asking her to google something about egyptian gods (cats?) that she gives up & flies down.

three. she’s almost always playing with her hair, & loves when other people braid it. when it gets chopped off because all the split ends & broken strands, & ends just above her shoulders, she braids other people’s hair instead.

four. she’s a total feminist. she’s never going to cook dinner for a man just because that’s what the ‘woman is supposed to do,’ nor does she put up with being catcalled (when men do whistle at her, she flips them off & keeps walking).

five. gregory (mr. fayne) insists that she go to college, so she attends a small school in connecticut for two years, getting an associates in history. when her father complains about how that degree will never get her anywhere in life, she sarcastically reminds him that he only wanted her to go to school in order to meet a man.
