Thanks a lot for the questions :D
And of course all the answers are just my opinions (in this instant in Time xD) and nothing more xD it's all done in good fun ^^
1/favorite film of all time
I don't have one. Or more so I can't choose just one xD depends on too many things (genre/when did I see it/how did I see it/is it linked to a memory/ etc xD).
I will say in "the absolute", the Lord of the Ring might be the closest I have to one ;)
3/favorite film genre
A close call between fantastic and science fiction really ! Knowing I do put in fantastic a number of fantasy movies too and all the space fiction ones some people insist are sf xD
4/movie to laugh to
Depending on the type of laugh you want/need at the moment :D
"L'extraterrestre" by and with Didier Bourdo / "Babysittor" with Vin Diesel / "Brice de Nice" with Dujardin / "Batman & Robin" with Clooney / "Twins" with Devitto and Schwarzenegger
5/movie to cry to
Again depending on the type of cry wanted/needed !
"The land before time" by Don Bluth / The Fisher King with Robin Williams / Dragons 2 / This is where I leave you by Shawn Levy
10/most recent seen in theaters
Superman
The James Gunn one. Very good surprise, reminded me of the old movies. I was happy that superman was finally well.. superman again. A kind character who wants to do good.
Had a great time watching it ^^
19/movie so bad it's good
I'm not sure I have one xD if I like a movie I'll tend to overlook less good elements in it *dies*
I'm really trying to find one but nothing comes to mind I'm sorry xD
21/fav animated movie
For eastern animation : porco rosso (by Hayao Miyazaki 1992), even tho I love all of his movies nearly equally xD when I was a kid it was mononoke and totoro.. but as I grew up, my preference shifted a little.
For western animation : Brisby the secret of nimh (by Don Bluth 1982), is certainly one of those that left a lasting impression on me since I was a kid. And I still love it. I don't watch it often tho xD
26/movie who made me think about life the most
The living end
By Gregg Araki in 1992. It's a queer road trip taking place in the US and it talks about aids. It's just... profoundly human ? It talks about love and people and it's pretty sad but.. hopeful too.
Araki is a great director~
38/ most overated movie
Mad max:furry road
It's pretty and the actors are good. But a pretty picture doesn't make a good movie and.. it's a chase from point A to point A, with no tension, and no surprise, so hehhhh.
39/most underrated movie
Super Mario bros
The original one from 1993. They actually adapted a lot of the elements from the game inside the story while making it something quite original. It's very fun, while coherent, and it's one of my fav childhood movie. I love it :D
Small drawing practice I did while watching the movie. I still have no idea how to shadow
y’all 27 days left until may 27
