Here’s the reveal I promised in my stories last night! This is how I decided to place the star print ordered from @mapiful in our apartment. What do you think? I really like leaning larger frames (be it paintings or prints) against walls. Do you do this too? I might add a few more frames to this part of the wall, but I’m liking how it looks for now. I think Nox likes it too! 🐈⬛✨ I had the pleasure of reading @mapiful’s book How to Make Your Home More You before it came out and used some of their tips and tricks to put this corner of the room together. I will also be using some of what I learned to make some changes in the rest of the apartment over the next few weeks as well. I was happy to find that I was already, unknowingly, using some of their suggested decorating methods! For example, choosing a colour palette, creating defined zones, creating the illusion of more space by pushing the couch into the corner rather than placing it in the middle of the room. They also talk about lighting and what to do when you don’t get a lot of natural light (which is the case with our apartment), and I was happy that I was already doing what they suggested–using more artificial light and mirrors to lighten a space as well as making it appear bigger.
