1. If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why ?

Mmmh… I think I would like to attract things to me, because I’m just that lazy of a person :p

2. What is your favorite book ?

Oh my God. I love to read so that’s a tough one.. I would say The Land Of Stories: The Wishing Spell, cause I love fairy tales and Chris is amazing :3

3. What do you need to be happy ?

I don’t know. I would love to know.. but I think for now I’m gonna say that making people happy makes me happy.

4. If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be ? 

To know what I’m doing with it

5. Do you have siblings ? If no, would you want one ?

I have a little sister, and she’s my sunshine :D

6. What is your favorite TV show ?

Glee, just because of the cast. Definitely not the storylines.

My favorite charachter is Kurt Hummel, not only because of his perfection, but also because he helped me a lot.

 I have absolutely no idea, which is kind of terrifying.

Hate and bullying against people.

Blue :) I love them and wouldn’t want another color!

Fic; We'll Have a Fairytale Romance.

Yesmine prompted: Chris and Darren as princes.

Summary: Princes Chris and Darren meet at a ball held by Chris' parents.

 Author's note: I'm clueless when it comes to how the monarchy works and the titles and such so I apologise for the inaccuracies that I'm sure there are. 

As he waltzed around the magnificent ballroom with yet another eligible young woman, Chris wondered where people who wrote books and movies got the idea that being a prince was something to dream about from. Even though the room was beautifully decorated and everyone looked wonderful in their finery Chris couldn’t enjoy it; not with the intent stares of his parents on him all evening.

“Maybe tonight you’ll find the right girl,” his mother had said as she straightened his tie before the ball. “I’ve had every eligible girl from good families in the kingdom invited to this ball.”

Some of the girls he had danced with that evening had been beautiful and funny and smart, the kind of girls that men dreamed about. But no matter how hard he tried he just wasn’t interested in being anymore than friends with any of them.

“It was lovely dancing with you,” Chris told Cassandra, the daughter of a wealthy baron. He kissed her hand gently before informing her he was going to get something to drink.

He walked quickly through the ballroom, hoping that he wouldn’t bump into his parents or any of his many suitors. Glancing quickly around him to make sure no one was watching, he grabbed a bottle of whiskey from an unattended drinks cart before darting out the door.

Chris was sitting out on an extravagant bench in the garden area of the palace, which was hidden by the rose bushes that his mother was so proud of and sipping straight from the bottle of whiskey when he was interrupted.

Chris looked up and was faced with who he recognised to be Darren Criss, a prince from the neighbouring kingdom. He was handsome in the way that princes were portrayed to be in popular culture; gorgeous, dark hair, dreamy eyes that could turn a person to mush if they looked for too long and a jaw line to die for. Chris felt his mouth go dry at the sight of him.

“Oh, I’m sorry,” Darren gasped when he noticed Chris. “I didn’t realise this hiding spot was taken.”

“It’s alright,” Chris told him and waved to the spot next to him on the bench. “You can stay. If you want to, that is.”

“Thanks,” Darren said with a grin and sat down next to Chris. “It’s just I don’t think I can cope with dancing with another one of those girls and this looks like a good hiding place.”

Chris laughed, “That’s why I’m here. There seems to be a never ending amount of them, doesn’t there?”

Darren grimaced and nodded. “I’m Darren Criss, by the way, and of course I know who you are. This is your party, after all.”

“I know who you are,” Chris replied before correcting Darren. “My mother’s party, actually. I’m not all that interested in this sort of thing if I’m honest.”

Chris offered the bottle of liquor to Darren who accepted it immediately and took a generous swig before speaking.

“I know what you mean, these things are the worst. My parents used to at least try and pretend that they weren’t making me go to them so that I could meet a girl to marry but now it’s all I hear before an event,” he took another drink of the amber liquid before mimicking what Chris assumed was his mother’s voice. “You’re twenty four Darren, it’s time you settled down with a good woman or people will start to talk.”

Chris frowned in sympathy as he took the bottle back and drank generously from it. He could already feel the heady effect of the alcohol.

“My parents are the same. They try to hide it but I know that this ball and every other like it they force me to go to are all about me finding the ‘right girl’ and it makes me miserable, you know?”

Darren shifted so that his body was facing Chris’ and said quietly, almost nervously, “It’s especially miserable when you’re ninety nine percent sure that there isn’t a ‘right girl’ for you.”

Chris froze. Did Darren mean what he thought he did? Was Darren like him? Didn’t he like girls?

He couldn’t look at Darren when he apprehensively confessed, “I feel exactly the same.”

“Really?” Darren asked, and when Chris finally looked up at him he was faced with wide, hopeful hazel eyes.

Chris simply nodded and took a sip of whiskey. He almost choked on it when Darren slipped one warm hand into his and squeezed tightly. He’d never held hands with another man before and it was much better than he’d always imagined.

The atmosphere between them felt thick and tense and filled with a deep understanding that Chris had never experienced before and he wondered what it would be like to just move forward and press his lips to Darren’s. But the moment was gone as quickly as it had appeared when Darren grabbed the bottle from Chris with a smirk and mock scolded, “Come on, don’t be greedy now!”

They spent the next two hours talking and laughing and Chris couldn’t remember the last time he had been able to speak so easily and honestly with someone. Being able to lay everything on the table and put away the façade made him feel amazing in a way that had nothing to do with the whiskey they had both consumed. He didn’t want the night to end; he didn’t want to see Darren leave.

All too soon, he heard the palace clocks chime to signal midnight and Chris knew that the ball would be winding down and if they didn’t want anyone to discover that they had been gone this was their last chance to sneak in unnoticed. Darren seemed to have had the same idea and Chris tried hard to fight down the giddiness he felt at the obvious disappointment on Darren’s beautiful face when he sighed and said, “I guess we should get back inside.”

They walked back through the castle grounds in silence, their hands bumping gently until Darren grabbed Chris’ hand for the second time that evening and laced their fingers together. Chris’ heart hammered hard in his chest from both joy, and fear that they would be caught.

“I don’t want to go back inside,” Darren said quietly as they neared the main entrance of the palace. “I don’t want to go back to all of that.”

Darren’s eyes flickered down to Chris’ lips and Chris knew that it was now or never. A boldness he had never known he possessed washed over him as he pushed Darren against the stone wall of the castle and kissed him hard.

Darren let out a little ‘oomph’ of surprise before moving his hands to rest them on either side of Chris’ face as he relaxed into the kiss. Chris curled his hands around Darren’s biceps as the other man deepened the kiss in a way that made Chris’ knees tremble.

When they broke apart they were both grinning and breathing heavily, their hearts beating heavily against their ribcages.

“We really should get inside now,” Chris said with a shy chuckle.

Although their bodies were distanced as they made their way back inside, Chris had never felt more close to anyone in his life. Even as they both danced with separate girls Chris’ heart stayed light, especially when Darren shot him a secret smile from the opposite end of the room. For the first time in his life, Chris felt hopeful that maybe things would work out for him. Maybe he would get his happily ever after.
