Finally the door creeks open &&. as the light beams a soft smile graces otherwise despairing features. It wasn’t often that Sora needed this sort of escape — but all was getting a little too much for her as of late. Truth was there wasn’t anyone else that she felt such peace with. He always understood and with no judgement. 

❝ I just can’t be home right now . . . — Whether things with her family would ever get better was a fleeting thought. It was never enough, she was never enough for them. Perhaps disappearing wasn’t so bad after all, not if it meant she got to spend the night here, with him. 

Sora was grateful for both Yamato and Gabumon, somehow they were always coming to her saving grace; especially in the last few months. She would be lost if it hadn’t been for them keeping her and Biyomon sane ( &&. safe )
