Suited well for those with sensitive skin due to its mild formula. Key Ingredients: - Triple Retinol Synergy * Retinol collagen production to help increase cellular turnover, resulting in firmer, smoother, youthful looking skin * Retinal works up to 11 times faster and has a higher exfoliation rate than retinol * Bakuchiol known as natures retinol - Elastic Lipsome is a patented technology that delivers active ingredients deep into the skin - Niacinamide delivers overall skin improvements - Centella Asiatica Extract helps improve skin barrier function and reduce redness Texture/Scent: - Has a thick, viscous consistency with a yellow tint in color. A mild floral scent. You don’t need much, I use 2 pea size amounts and massage into the skin. The serum surprisingly feels lightweight on the skin and absorbs rather quickly even though it is quite viscous in consistency. I love that it doesn’t leave the skin feeling tacky or oily and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. With consistent use over 4 weeks my skin appears more even and brighter and have seen an improvement in elasticity. If you are like me and have mature skin and prefer strong retinol serums then this is probably not the serum for you. But I would recommend this to anyone starting out in retinol or for those who have sensitive skin. PROS: ✅ No irritation. AROMATICA Comforting Calendula Decoction Juicy Cream is a gentle moisturizer for those with sensitive or irritated skin that deeply hydrates the skin while helping the skin retain moisture longer. Key Ingredients: - 48% Calendula Extract stimulates collagen production and can help calm inflammation, redness, and irritated skin - Tamarind Seed Polysaccharide contains antioxidant and antibacterial properties, moisturizes, smooths, and soothes the skin - Ceramide nourishes and replenishes the skin while restoring function to the skin barrier - Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract contains anti-inflammatory properties that helps soothe and hydrates dry skin Texture/Scent: - Water-like cream that feels silky on the skin. Fragrance Free I’ve been using the Comforting Calendula Decoction Intensive Cream for months and was excited to be given the opportunity to try the Juicy Cream version. The cream is lightweight but does take a bit to absorb for me. I like the dewy, soft finish it gives my complexion once absorbed and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tacky/oily. I did find that it hydrated my skin well and it did last throughout the day. This cream would be best for warmer months as I don’t see it being hydrating enough during the colder months. Skin is visibly more plump and feels soft after each use. I would recommend for those with sensitive and acne prone skin or if in need of restoring skin barrier.
